Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry. It often centers around nature. Haiku poems don’t rhyme; they follow a pattern. The pattern for haiku is the following:

  • LINE 1: Five syllables
  • LINE 2: Seven syllables
  • LINE 3: Five syllables
